As a fabric artist I create a variety of items for sale at WomanCraft. This includes bunnies in a variety of sizes that are handcrafted from repurposed wool and cashmere sweaters. Each bunny is unique with a hand embroidered face and clothes I make to suit their unique personalities. In addition to bunnies, I also make infinity scarves out of repurposed wool and cashmere. My wool felt animals are poular at WomanCraft. Designs include cats, dogs, birds, bats and even axolotyls!

Although I have made clothes for my grand kids and nieces and nephews for many years, I have recently begun selling them here at WomanCraft. They are handmade using a pattern from Canadian pattern maker Cody Eastlyn Appleton. Most “Grow with me” garments have cuffs that you unroll as your child grows. Some of the patterns utilize drawstrings or foldable waistbands as well. Clothing made from these patterns fits 3 to 4 times longer than traditionally sized clothes and they fit during those awkward between sizes! I’ve made hoodies, dresses and bottoms for my grandchildren, nieces and nephews that they have worn for 3+ years!

The material that I use is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. I make them in sizes 3-12 months, 12 months-3T, 3T-6 years and 6-9 years. I’m in the shop on Wednesday afternoons.
