My first experience with pottery was earning my Girl Scout Badge when I was twelve. I have been somehow involved with clay and glass ever since. Whether it was that pottery class in college, my internship with a Korean potter when I was in the Peace Corps, or collecting Fiesta ware when I lived in L.A., I've always been fascinated by the way dirt and silica mix with some hard work and inspiration to become something beautiful and useful. My pieces are meant to be used. I strive to make them comfortable to hold, convenient to use and, of course, pleasing to look at.

Lately, I have revived my interest in textiles and am hooking throw rugs from recycled fabrics, dying silk scarves and quilting pot holders. I hope that you will find something here that you will want to use every day - because art should be an integral part of our everyday lives.
