• I can't remember a time when I didn't sew; first clothes for my doll, then for myself and then for others. With a solid background of 6 years of home economics and 4-H in school, I went to college with aspirations of becoming a fashion designer. But a weekend job at the local hospital led me to change majors and become a pediatric nurse. But I continued to sew, and when I moved to Chapel Hill, I found WomanCraft.

I like to use 100% cotton fabrics to make items that I would like to give or receive as gifts. Most of my children's items were tested on my own children and will stand up to the wear and tear of active play.

I enjoy the challenge of creating items that are special and personal.
